PLEASE NOTE - ABSTRACT SUBMISSION HAS CLOSED
Format of the Abstract Submission
We would like to invite you to submit abstracts, which will be peer-reviewed according to the topic categories. There is no limit to the number of abstracts an individual may author.
Abstract text (including references) is limited to maximum 350 words. Graphs, figures and photographs are not permitted in abstracts.
The abstract should be structured with these headings:
- Title
- Purpose
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
We would like to invite abstracts on the following topics (when you submit your abstract you will be required to select one of these options):
- National or community approaches to physical activity promotion
- Promoting walking/practitioner experiences in promoting walking in Europe
- Environment and physical activity
- Evaluation, measurement and monitoring of physical activity
- Health effects of physical activity
- Other topic
After review, you will be informed by e-mail whether the abstract will be accepted for poster / oral presentation or rejected. Hence, an accurate e-mail address is critical. In case of acceptance we will consider your preference for oral or poster presentation. Only abstracts of registered presenting authors will be included in the programme and abstract book. We hope to inform delegates in July if their abstracts are successful.
The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to Thursday 5 June at 5pm.
